FURNITURE MOVE AGREEMENT
MUST BE READ AND SIGNED BEFORE INSTALLATION
You may need to have your doors cut to allow for the height of your new flooring. If you are unable to cut them yourself, we can provide a list of contractors for your convenience.
Our installers will make every effort to avoid scratching or chipping paint on baseboard. However, because they must work close to walls, scratches and nicks may occur. If you have recently painted, you may need to touch-up.
We are happy to remove appliances from the room, but our installers are unable to disconnect or reconnect any gas, water, or direct wired appliances. We can provide a list of service providers for your convenience.
No carpet is completely “trackless” some styles will help hide footprints and vacuum marks better than others.
Any area to be worked in must be heated to at least 70 degrees.
We are not responsible for any repairs or replacement of subfloors other than what is covered in your contract.
If you have existing wall to wall carpeting, our installers will likely use your tack strips. If not useable, we will replace them at no additional cost to you. Please do not remove existing tack strip.

- ¨ Disassemble Modular Furniture
- ¨ Move Pool Table
- ¨ Move Piano
- ¨ Move Computer
- ¨ Move Grandfather Clock
- ¨ Move Exercise Equipment

The Estimator has confirmed the style, color, the width to be used, seam placement, and the areas to be installed. I understand that if we are unable to install your flooring for reasons beyond R.E. Carpet’s control, this order is subject to a $150 trip charge and that my job will be moved to the end of the installation schedule.
